Samantha Hamilton Stent
Acupuncture | Chinese Herbal Medicine | Tui Na Therapy
I am the founder of Reigate Natural Health. It was born from my passion for natural health, individualised medicine and holistic care. I wanted to bring together expert practitioners in a variety of disclipines to offer a portfolio of approaches to health and well-being. I am an acupuncturist and herbalist by trade and practising acupuncture and Chinese medicine is one of the great joys in my life. I see every day the immediate and lasting effects this traditional medicine has on people’s lives and the difference it can make, in ways big and small. I have been in clinical practice as an acupuncturist for well over a decade and during that time I have been privileged to have worked with humans at every stage of life, from teeny tiny babies to people enjoying old, old age. To date my oldest patient has been 98 years and my youngest, just 6 days! I have worked with many patients facing huge health obstacles in my work running the acupuncture service at St Catherine’s hospice; I have worked with people who are fit and healthy and want to stay that way and everyone in between. I love to hear my patients’ stories and help them sometimes at the most vulnerable times of their lives. It is quite something to be allowed into people’s lives and to be part of their journey, whatever the destination.
I have a strong foundation in the academics of health by virtue of my first degree in health science and have been working in the research and delivery of health and medicine all my career. I toggle between both Eastern and Western medical systems with ease and this fluency enables me to work in partnership with western medical doctors and other Chinese medicine practitioners. In addition to my clinical work, I am a lecturer and faculty member at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York and teach undergraduate acupuncture students.
I have a busy and fun life outside of the clinic and am mum to two girls. I enjoy getting out and about in the countryside with my dogs and love writing.

Reflexology
I am so delighted to bring Reflexology To Reigate Natural Health. I continue to be amazed even after over 30 years of given treatments how fabulously the feet connect to the whole person and how working them therapeutically can make such a difference energetically, physically and emotionally.
It has been and is such a privilege to work with people in such a connected way and supporting them holistically through life’s highs and lows and everything in between. With so many years behind me I have worked with a huge variety of people, in a vast array of circumstances and situations. From the very young to the very old, seeking this treatment for a myriad of reasons.
I have taken Reflexology into Centres, including The East Surrey Macmillan Cancer Support Centre and The Recovery Centre in Knightsbridge, London. At the Recovery Centre my treatments complemented the work of medical doctors, psychotherapists, and other holistic therapists in helping people, including adolescents on their wellbeing journey.
My treatments have evolved over the years, including in length. I offer a 90 minute treatment which has very much become my ‘signature’ treatment. I find it allows more time for working especially deeply and therapeutically with the many layers and may encourage more ‘shifts’, release of emotional/physical tensions, in a single treatment.
Our feet are so small, but so vast …..as we are!
I also offer 60 minute treatments, a more traditional length of time with much to offer in itself and may suit some people better, including time wise.
I very much look forward to welcoming you at Reigate Natural Health!
Aside from loving my work, I am a mother to my gorgeous son who has just started university.
I find drawing to be a form of meditation and painting as a way to celebrate colour. I love walking in nature and am a big fan of 5 Rhythms dance!
I am a Lifetime Member of The Association of Reflexologists and a Member of The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.

Leah Zadoyan
Holistic Therapist | Baby Massage Instructor
I have always loved nature and been interested in how it can help heal us. I first learnt the benefits of physical touch when learning about baby massage. I began practising this with my own baby and now she is a toddler she still asks me for regular massages; she finds comfort in this especially when she is not feeling well – she really enjoys the sinus strokes.
I expanded my horizons by qualifying in Indian head massage and holistic facials with a well known facialist who has been featured in Vogue for her non invasive yet effective results using natural modalities. I am passionate about helping people find natural ways to look after themselves and love to make people feel relaxed and take the stress away.
When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring a new country walk, reading a book in-front of the fire and getting creative with flower arranging, dance and poetry.

Barbara Bicknell
Counsellor
I am a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor offering a safe, empathic and confidential space where you can explore any issues which are troubling you. I can help with a range of problems including anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, anger, depression, self-destructive behaviours, abuse, relationship issues and loss. Reaching out can feel uncomfortable, and takes courage, yet doing so is often the start of a journey to living a more fulfilled life and understanding your thoughts, feeling and past experiences better.
Therapeutic counselling can help bring personal awareness and balance to your life going forward. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you can feel understood and comfortable to talk about painful issues, allowing you to work through any difficulties so that you may find solutions that are right for your personal growth.
I am also an experienced Bereavement Counsellor. Bereavement can lead to a range of overwhelming emotions, including feelings of sadness, denial, anger, anxiety, loneliness, and fatigue. The closer the relationship the more difficult it may be to adapt after the loss, be it a loved one, a pet, a job, a way of life, your health or culture. I support people during this painful period in their lives and work through the feelings connected to loss or grief. It is normal to experience a range of emotions but there’s no right or wrong way to grieve. Death can also challenge our fundamental beliefs and I can accompany people adjusting to life without their loved one or after a life event loss, including understanding the mourning process and beliefs around illness or mortality.
My therapeutic approach is compassionate, holistic, relationship focused and Person Centred, both brief and longer term.

Holistic Face & Body Therapist
I am a Holistic Face and Body massage therapist, a student of College Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) and mum of three kids. After my third childbirth and related signs of aging I realized the importance of taking care of myself and my mental health. I immersed myself into holistic practices to help myself to recover mentally and physically. At this point alternative therapies became an essential part of my wellbeing journey. Acupuncture and Face massages had a huge positive impact on my health and became the main direction for further study and qualifications.
When I started my practice, I noticed the same good effect on the other women who tried face massage therapy. I believe that the healing touch of hands can naturally restore the mind and body. In combination with the most advanced manual techniques on the face, neck, shoulders, and scalp it brings emotional balance, visible rejuvenation effects and relaxation of the whole woman’s body.
I like to dive into and explore new experience so I am continuing my education and improving my skills to bring the most advanced techniques and diversity into my practice.
Following my passion and love of natural beauty and for the benefits of your skin I use only environmentally friendly organic skin care products.

Jessica Higton
Women’s Health Physiotherapist
Hello, I’m Jessica and I am a women’s health physiotherapist. I have over twenty years clinical experience and have held senior and lead roles in both the NHS and the private sector. I am a chartered physiotherapist and I am a member of the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy), HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council), MACP (Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists-full member) and the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists). My career started in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and it was during this time that I became increasingly aware of the impact a poorly functioning pelvic floor can have on musculoskeletal conditions, particularly low back pain. Through independent study, training and post-graduate courses I discovered how important the pelvic floor is for good health, but also how often it is neglected. Musculoskeletal and women’s health conditions often overlap and my in-depth knowledge of both areas allow me to assess and treat them together, a huge advantage for my clients. I am also qualified to use acupuncture as part of my practice. Alongside my private practice, I also work for Frimley Health NHS Trust as a senior women’s health physiotherapist.
Women’s Physiotherapy Reigate (based at Reigate Natural Health) is a clinic dedicated to helping women with pelvic health problems including urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, faecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain including pain in and around the pelvis before and after childbirth, as well as pain during sexual intercourse. The clinic also offers post-natal checks and provides guidance on returning to sports after childbirth, as well as seeing women who are experiencing pelvic health problems during the peri and post menopause. I am mindful that women’s health conditions can be embarrassing and upsetting and I manage this sensitively. My clinic at Reigate Natural Health is a safe, private and relaxed space.

Karen Allen-Jones
Registered Nutritional Therapist
I am a registered and qualified Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach. I specialise in helping people with digestive problems, such as IBS, SIBO, reflux, diarrhoea, constipation or bloating. Suffering with these debilitating conditions can lead to exhaustion, anxiety and sometimes agony. I support my clients to regain control over their digestive systems so that they can enjoy the pleasure of eating again without having to worry about how their body is going to react.
My mission when working with clients is to reconnect them with the enjoyment of meal times, to make them realise they are not alone or worthless, and that they can stop that downward spiral and constantly feeling unwell. Are you desperate to get things sorted and leave this burden behind you? I can help.
I started my health journey suffering with terrible immune and energy problems. In my early 30s, I was exhausted, had terrible digestive and allergy issues and was living on grab on the go food. I thought I had tried everything to get better but nothing worked and I was watching my quality of life spiral down. Finally seeing a Nutritional Therapist, I was able to find out that I had adrenal exhaustion, candida, parasites, leaky gut, countless food intolerances and a lowered immune system. Taking that step and changing my diet was the best thing to ever happen to me. This first-hand experience has led me to a lifelong passion for transforming the health of my clients. I enrolled at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition for a 3 year course and qualified with a DipION.
I am fully insured and registered with the British Association for Nutritional and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CHNC). I work with clients from all walks of life with a common goal, to improve their digestive health.

Psychodynamic Counsellor
I am a qualified psychodynamic counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I provide a calm, confidential, non-judgmental space, to enable you to talk freely about what is concerning you.
Sometimes, we get caught up in our daily lives and find it hard to allow time for our emotional wellbeing, pushing aside our worries and concerns. The idea of counselling can be daunting, but it can provide insight as to why we might be feeling a certain way. Together we can take the time to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, whether they relate to past or present relationships, unhelpful repeating patterns, or unresolved personal or workplace issues. This can help self-understanding, restore balance and the ability to cope with life with more self-confidence.
I work with people who come to counselling for many different reasons, including those struggling with overwhelming emotions, depression, anxiety, anger, relationship difficulties, burnout, grief, bereavement, or traumatic experiences.

Polly Webb
Registered Nutritional Therapist
Twenty years ago my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and it made me rethink my career path. Having always had a love of food and been brought up in a very ‘foodie’ household, I decided to leave the corporate world and retrain to become a Nutritional Therapist at the renowned Institute of Optimum Nutrition in London. I am a complete realist and demonise nothing. You can have your cake and eat it! There is way too much fear around food and my mission is all about embracing food and learning that it is your power tool not your enemy. Food is there to be loved not feared and it is part of our day to day existence as well as a massive part of our culture, so we must make it a happy relationship. Such small changes can have a fundamental affect on our energy levels, weight, sleep, concentration and mental health.
I carry out consultations for any health concern but the following are the areas I specialise in:
Weight Loss
Weight management is an area I have high success rates in with clients. Whether it is for health related reasons or just wanting to fit into that pair of jeans, look no further I am your lady! I will teach you how to tailor your eating habits to enable you to lose weight whilst never eliminating any of your favourite foods and more importantly, how to maintain your ideal weight whilst having a healthy relationship with food. No more diets, just learn how to make the right choices that work for you!
Disordered Eating
I feel so strongly about helping people break the cycle with any kind of disordered eating. Food is part of our every day life, part of our culture and a huge part of our society. It is there to be embraced not feared. I want to take this fear away and restore your faith and love in food. Eating should be a pleasurable experience and there is nothing that breaks my heart more than when people can’t enjoy food or eating out. With my help and expertise we will develop a step-by-step programme to encompass all the food groups to create a healthy relationship with food.
Menopause
I am personally going through the peri-menopause so can relate to anyone struggling in this area. Every woman is unique and differs in their symptoms. Whether it be hot flushes, insomnia, anxiety, irritability, weight gain, depression, joint pain, brain fog, low libido etc. I would welcome the opportunity to assist you with your symptoms and get you on a pathway to combat them. It can be a lonely place which can feel quite isolating at times so please don’t suffer alone and come and see me. Nutritional Therapy can help you get on the right track and feel better.
Healthy Eating
The mixed messages in society about what is or isn’t healthy can be a total minefield. If you or your family would like to get clarity on what a healthy, wholesome dietary lifestyle should consist of or are simply in need of some rejuvenation then look no further. I will assess your weekly food and drink intake, taking your lifestyle habits into account. I will then educate you on how to make the right choices to enable a happier and healthier lifestyle ensuring that you are achieving an optimum balanced diet full of all the right nutrients. For the family I can also do a review of your kitchen cupboards along with a personal shopping experience to then devise a bespoke meal plan which all the family will buy into. As a mum of three children I know this absolutely has to be realistic otherwise it won’t work.
Please do contact me via email on polly@soundeating.co.uk, or phone 07775 855700 or via my website www.soundeating.co.uk should you wish to get in touch.
